The main staple of a collection, Nicole's film work. The majority of her work is readily available to buy on DVD, and
you can find links for the main places to buy them online below. Some of her older work is not available on all regions
of DVD though, and a few of her older projects don't seem to be available anywhere!

BOOKS
A number of biographies on Nicole Kidman have been published, some better than others. The Hildred and Ewbank, and
Ellis and Sutherland books are quite popular with fans. The David Thomson book was a controversial and much talked
about release, with critics calling it "weird", "creepy", "self-indulgent" and suggesting it's too made up. More positive
reviews, however, describe it as a 'critical biography', offering an interesting angle on Nicole's career. Make up
your mind as you will, if you choose to read it. Below are the covers of the main biographies, and again, the best place

A few of Nicole's films have had accompanying books to mark their release - Moulin Rouge and Cold Mountain
being the main ones. Both are packed full of information and stunning photos. They are quite hard to get a hold of these
days, and when you find them they may be expensive, but they are definitely worth it for keen fans of Nicole and the films.
Additionally, being based on the hugely popular novel series, The Golden Compass film release was promoted
with a large range of books, including an Illustrated Movie Companion and Quiz Book. Again, the Amazon websites are
the easiest places to find these.
Nicole has been featured, or mentioned, in numerous other film and fashion related books. Photographer Mario Testino's
book 'Let Me In!' is one of the most notable fashion related books - Nicole wrote the foreword for the book and there
are several photos of her inside amongst the 300 stunning colour and black & white portraits of famous faces. Buy 'Let

'My Movie With Nicole Kidman' appears to be a unique book written by Eric Benjamin, who played Gene in The Invasion,
and his father Lyle, about his experience working on the movie set with Nicole and provides an insight into the experience
of child actors working on movies. The book is listed at Amazon.com,
but does not appear to currently be available for purchase.
And finally, a number of Nicole's films have been adaptations of books, so if you enjoy reading then be sure to search some
of the books out. Book to film adaptations that Nicole has worked on include The Portrait Of A Lady (by Henry
James), Practical Magic (by Alice Hoffman), The Hours (by Michael Cunnigham), The Human Stain
(by Philip Roth) and Cold Mountain (by Charles Frazier).
MUSIC
As we all know, Nicole turned her talents to music in 2001, singing in Moulin Rouge and duetting with Robbie
Williams on Somethin' Stupid. Nicole is even a chart-topping musical artist! The Moulin Rouge soundtracks
are readily available in various editions (regular and collector's edition), but the singles may be harder to come
by. Have a look at Amazon and Ebay to get a hold of them. Nicole was later heard singing in Nine, and that
soundtrack, full of original cast recordings, is available for purchase.

Whatever It Takes is a charity artwork campaign that works together with a number of public figures - business leaders,
sports stars, actors, musicians and writers, to raise awareness of and engage in finding solutions to the issues we face
in the 21st Century. They've launched a range of merchandise featuring artwork designed by, as well as signed by, those
famous faces. Nicole is one of those celebrities who has lent her support to the campaign, contributing her design of
a tall stick figure woman with frizzy hair and long legs (who could that be!?). Nicole's design has been used on
merchandise such as bags, mugs, plates, canvas prints and mousemats, and they are available to buy at
WhateverItTakes.org Store (to see all of Nicole's products,

SPECIAL MERCHANDISE - AUSTRALIAN STAMPS
In early 2009 it was announced that four top Australian Academy Award winners would be immortalised in a postage stamp as
the Australian Post Office's 'Legends Of The Year' as part of a celebration of Australia Day. Nicole was one of those
actors, alongside Russell Crowe, Geoffrey Rush and Cate Blanchett, chosen for their "outstanding contribution" to
entertainment and culture in Australia. Each actor had 2 stamps - each worth 5 cents - one showing them in character
(Nicole's was from Moulin Rouge), and one as themselves. The celebrities were each presented with 24-carat gold
replicas of their stamps. Of the honour, Nicole said "I have a vested interest in Australia. I want my children to live
here at certain times of their life and see how wonderful it is. It would be lovely for them to lick a stamp, put it on an
envelope and say 'that’s my mum.'"
As the stamps are 'special editions', you may not be able to purchase them anymore, but you might find something browsing
through the links below, or even googling it. You can, however, buy the special book to commemorate the entire
series of 'Legends Of The Year' stamps, which includes Nicole's stamps.
